In many areas of Japan, wall sockets of type B (3-pin with earthing contact) are not common - therefore only travel plugs with plug type A (2-pin without earthing contact) fit here.
With this travel plug, there is no conversion (transformation) of the electrical voltage or change in mains frequency. Check the compatibility of your device before connecting it to the socket. The product is intended for temporary use only and is not designed for operation with other adapters.
