Fast data transmission

With the 8K HDMITM active optical cable from Hama, the digital image and the sound are transmitted using light waves: The data rate of up to 48 Gbit/s sets the highest future-proof standards. This large bandwidth enables even faster image display per second, supports up to 32 audio channels and supports 3D transmission for videos.

8K Ultra-HD cinema quality

Our high-quality HDMITM cable supports image resolutions of 7,680 x 4,320 pixels – this brilliant image quality in 8K Ultra HD is something you otherwise only experience in the cinema. Now you can get the best film and series viewing experience at home on your projector or HD TV!

The frame rate with a high refresh rate of up to 120 Hz will also delight all action game players, as it ensures games run smoothly and quickly. With the 8K HDMITM cable, flickering or lag is finally a thing of the past.

Innovative features

The 8K HDMITM active optical cable from Hama supports numerous additional functions. Thanks to CEC, compatible electronic devices can be easily connected using HDMITM and controlled centrally. Therefore you need, at best, only one remote control for your TV, SAT receiver, sound system and console.

Through Dynamic HDR, it is possible to display each image at its ideal values for depth, sharpness, brightness, contrast and wider colour gamuts – this guarantees an excellent display at all times.

With eARC, various current audio formats – including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD – can be played losslessly without compression. You save yourself an additional audio cable in your home electronics and at the same time obtain excellent sound quality from your speakers.

Furthermore, you set up a network connection at up to 100 Mbit/s using the HEC channel. This allows you to connect compatible devices from your home electronics directly via the HDMITM cable to the Internet, and save yourself extra Ethernet cabling.

Robust design

In matters of design, the Hama 8K HDMITM cable is likewise impressive and meets high standards. The connectors are gold-plated and the metal plug is fully shielded, which guarantees a reliable signal transmission.

Please be aware that you should never bend optical cables, despite their flexibility. The 8K HDMITM cable from Hama has optimised kink protection – this prevents cable breakage.

Easy to lay

The Hama HDMITM active optical cable is designed to be extremely thin and flexible. This allows optimal laying of the plugs in a cable channel. Let your beautiful home entertainment system speak for itself: Unsightly cables finally disappear from view.
