How do I find the right size for my smart ring?

The Hama "One" smart ring is available in six sizes and two colours. To help you choose the perfect fit, simply use our ring guide – it features comparison tables and handy tips on how to find your size, even if you don’t know it yet.

Does the smartphone always have to be connected to the smart ring?

An active connection to your smartphone is required for activity tracking and the notification function. However, the Hama "One" smart ring can also record all other background metrics, such as steps and heart rate, independently. The data can be synchronised in the app afterwards, as soon as the connection is restored. So, for the time being, using the smart ring without having your mobile phone in your pocket also works; however, data transmission requires an active Bluetooth connection.

What are the requirements for pairing the smart ring with my smartphone?

Pairing: Establish a Bluetooth connection and add the device, naming it if necessary. For personalised notifications, detailed reports and more, you’ll need the free “Hama Active” app. Tip: Remember to grant the app the necessary permissions. If required, you can share data from the Hama Active app with other apps, such as Strava, or – on Android devices – via the Health Connect app, and on iPhones via Apple Health.

What notifications can I receive on the smart ring?

In the "Hama Active" app, you can customise which notifications are forwarded to the smart ring. Smartphone modes such as "Do Not Disturb" can also be synchronised. You can also choose specific apps, services and contacts that are allowed to trigger a vibration notification on the smart ring.

What can the Hama "One" smart ring measure?

The Hama "One" smart ring combines four sensors in a single ring: heart rate, blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), body temperature and an accelerometer for measuring movement and speed. These readings enable health-related measurements and the recording of training data for a wide range of sports.

What can a smart ring do that a smart watch can’t?

A wearable like the Hama "One" smart ring impresses above all with its discreet, jewellery-like slim design – it goes unnoticed even when worn continuously. Thanks to direct skin contact with the finger, sensors such as those for heart rate, SpO₂ and body temperature can take particularly accurate and continuous readings. If you’d prefer not to have a display, a fitness ring designed for everyday use will distract you far less, whilst still allowing you to rely on its tracking and notification features.

How do I look after my smart ring properly?

After the ring has come into contact with water, it is advisable to wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. For safe storage, simply place your smart accessory in the supplied case with charging function. In everyday life and when doing sport, the Hama "One" smart ring can be worn just like a normal stainless steel ring.
